RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Building packaging machine sub- assemblies
- Checking parts for proper manufacturing
- Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written specifications.
- Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine
- Correctly positioning parts and drill, tapping and reaming holes at designated points
- Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools
- Strong customer service skills, a team-player attitude & regular and acceptable attendance are required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 1 year of auto mechanic or industrial/mechanical experience is required.
- The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required.
- A basic understanding of mathematics principles.
- The ability to stand much of the working day.
- The ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- The ability to multi-task.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a starting wage of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Company paid health, dental, life and disability insurance for the employee, 401(k) & paid time off benefits.
